BADGER PRE-SEASON VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT

Friday September 1- Saturday September 2, 2023

 

FRIDAY:

 

10:00  Start time.  Gym will open at 9:00

 

The first day of the tournament will be round robin style with each team playing each of the other teams in the tournament.

 

Each game will have a 5-minute warm-up period (2-2-1) with 30 minutes of playing time.  If the time runs out in the middle of the rally, finish the rally.  Each game will be played to 25 points with a 25 point cap.  If the score is tied at the end of the 30-minutes, a 1 point rally will be played.  

 

Prior to your first game, you may use the courts from 9:00 am - 9:50 am to properly warm up for the day.  The old gym (court 3) will also be available to use when games are not scheduled to play.  COACHES MUST BE SUPERVISING ATHLETES WHEN PRACTICING IN THE OLD GYM.

 

The home team is designated by the first team listed in the pairing. 

 

Home team has first serve and will take the north side of the court.

 

If one court finishes their game early, the next game will not start until the other courts are finished with their games.  Times are approximate.  We will run ahead of schedule if possible.
