Hi! My name is Stacy Woodhouse. I am entering my 18th year of teaching!
I grew up on the Hi-Line (Joplin, MT) and went from Kindergarten through grade 7 there. I finished junior high and high school in Twin Bridges, MT. I got my Elementary Education degree from UM-Western in Dillon in 2000. Before I went off to teach, I spent several years working at Western as a Financial Aid Advisor and worked as a statistician for the Frontier Conference. In 2004, I accepted my first teaching job in Absarokee, MT where I taught 5th grade and helped coach volleyball. From there, I moved to Fort Shaw, Montana and worked in the Sun River Valley School District. I taught there from 2005-2015 and again from 2018-2020. From 2020-2023, I taught 3rd and 4th grade at Dutton-Brady. Now, I am in my second year as a Pirate! During my career, I have taught every level from Kindergarten through 8th grade.
My husband, Mike and I have three children--Lilly (Sunny) who is going to be a junior at MT Tech, Colin who is a 8th grader and Trevor who is a 4th grader. I enjoy animals, watching sports and working with and growing flowers in my spare time. I am excited to start the 2024-2025 school year and be a part of the Pirate family!
